President of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan A. Ashirov led the delegation of the country during a meeting with Rector of Baku State University E. Babayev. This was reported by the TurkmenPortal online edition.
Turkmenistan's Ambassador to Azerbaijan G. Elyasov also took part in the meeting dedicated to expanding cooperation in the fields of science and education. The parties noted that a memorandum of cooperation has already been signed between Baku State University and Mahtumkuli TSU.
The head of ANT informed the Azerbaijani side about the Academy's activities and emphasized the wide potential of bilateral interaction. Confidence was expressed that joint activities would increase the scientific potential of the two countries.
At the end of the meeting, the works of the President of Turkmenistan "Youth - the backbone of the Motherland" and "Anau - culture from the depths of millennia" were presented.
