On July 31, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Russian Federation Esen Aidogdyev met with Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia Mikhail Galuzin. This was reported by the Internet edition "Westiabad."
During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of bilateral cooperation of strategic and long-term nature. Special attention was paid to the organization of upcoming joint meetings and events.
The Turkmen side expressed interest in strengthening strategic partnership with the Russian Federation in a wide range of areas. Earlier, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan held meetings with President of the Russian Academy of Sciences Gennady Krasnikov and Director of the Institute of China and Modern Asia of the Russian Academy of Sciences Kirill Babaev on scientific cooperation.
