Last week, the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (SCREX) held successful trades, during which 23 deals were concluded for a total amount of more than 15 million 505 thousand U.S. dollars. The main buyers were representatives of business circles from Turkey, Afghanistan, Georgia, Tajikistan and Serbia, reported TDH.
Among the goods sold were oil products and liquefied gas produced by the State Concerns "Turkmenneft" and "Turkmengaz", including oil road bitumen, diesel fuel and liquefied gas. Licorice root extract purchased by entrepreneurs from Serbia attracted special interest of foreign buyers.
In parallel with international transactions, Turkmenistan's domestic market was also active. Local businessmen purchased various products, including base oil, oil road bitumen, float sheet glass, handmade carpets and cleaned cotton spinning waste. The total value of transactions in the domestic market exceeded AZN 13 million 312 thousand.
