Belgrade, July 8 - Arzuw.news. The ceremony of presenting credentials of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to Serbia E. Aidogdyev to Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic took place yesterday at the Presidential Palace in Belgrade. This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
The Turkmen diplomat conveyed greetings from the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to the Serbian leadership and people.
In response, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic conveyed greetings to the Head of Turkmenistan and Hero Arkadag, and expressed good wishes to the Turkmen people. The Serbian leader congratulated the Turkmen ambassador on his appointment and expressed confidence in further strengthening of friendly relations between the two states.
During the meeting, the sides discussed the prospects of strengthening relations and expanding bilateral political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation between Turkmenistan and Serbia.
It is noted that Turkmenistan's ambassador to Serbia has a residence in Moscow.
