The National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov made a working trip to the city of Arkadag to familiarize himself with the projects of construction and modernization of road and transport infrastructure. This is reported by the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.
During the visit, Hero-Arkadag toured the modern highway interchange built along Geoktepe Avenue. Special attention was paid to the decorative design of the walls of the lower tier of the structure, where images reflecting the relationship between the past and the future are presented.
The National Leader noted the special significance of the images of Akhalteke horses on the arches of the interchange, emphasizing that this region is the historical homeland of the "heavenly" horses.
Chairman of the State Committee for Construction of Arkadag City D. Orazov reported on the application of artificial intelligence by specialists of the Research Institute of Earthquake Engineering to study the seismic situation of territories.
Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov decided to permanently use the products of the Bäherden Ceramic Products Plant in the construction of the city of Arkadag. The enterprise, opened on March 12 in Bäherden etrap of Akhal province, is capable of producing 3.3 million square meters of ceramic tiles and 120 thousand units of sanitary ware annually.
Geoktepe and Keymir kör avenues will connect the railway and road stations under construction in the city, forming a modern transportation network.
Within the framework of the trip, a working meeting was held with the participation of the Chairman of the State Committee D. Orazov and the mayor of the city G. Mammadova, where the issues of the second phase of construction and the creation of a medical cluster were considered.
The National Leader also toured the city mosque under construction, noting that charitable donations from Turkmenistan residents and foreign countries are being received for its construction.
The projects are implemented within the framework of the "Program of the President of Turkmenistan for socio-economic development of the country in 2022-2028" and the Program for the development of transport diplomacy for 2022-2025.
