Deputy Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan Ahmet Gurbanov held a meeting with Deputy Foreign Minister of the Republic of Estonia for Economy and Development Marin Ratnik at the Berkarar Hotel of the National Tourist Zone "Avaza". This is reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
During the talks, the diplomats discussed topical issues of bilateral cooperation between the two countries in various spheres of mutual interest. Special attention was paid to the development of trade and economic ties, particularly in the field of digitalization.
The sides also exchanged views on interaction within international structures, including the United Nations and the European Union. The representative of Estonia noted the importance of the forthcoming Third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries.
The participants of the meeting discussed regional and international issues, emphasizing the importance of Turkmenistan's peace-loving neutral policy. In the context of strengthening international dialog, preparations for the International Forum of Peace and Trust to be held in December this year in Ashgabat were noted.
