President of Turkmenistan discussed cooperation with King Eswatini in the USA

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov met with King Eswatini Mswati III during his participation in the 80th session of the UN General Assembly in the United States. It is reported Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan. 

At the beginning of the conversation, the sides discussed the prospects of interstate dialog. King Mswati III highly appreciated the organizational level of the Third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries held in August in Avaza, Turkmenistan, and thanked for the warm reception.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov thanked the King for his kind words. He emphasized that Turkmenistan, guided by its permanent neutrality, builds friendly relations with all countries, paying special attention to cooperation with the states of the African continent.

The key point of the talks was the discussion of the recent signing of the Protocol on the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations between the two countries. The sides are confident that this step will lay a solid foundation for a long-term partnership.
