Diplomats of Turkmenistan were awarded medals "For Love to the Fatherland"

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan held a ceremony of awarding diplomats with state awards on the eve of the 34th anniversary of the country's independence. This is reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Minister of Foreign Affairs Rashid Meredov read out the Decree of the President of Turkmenistan on awarding state honors and presented medals "For Love to the Fatherland" to the employees of the Foreign Ministry.

The head of the diplomatic ministry emphasized the special significance of the ongoing events, noting the importance of the recent meeting of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan in Ashgabat under the chairmanship of the National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. The meeting addressed key issues of state life and socio-economic development of the regions and the capital.

Rashid Meredov emphasized the importance of implementing the country's foreign policy course and the tasks of the diplomatic service in the context of the upcoming 80th session of the UN General Assembly.

The award ceremony was held in preparation for the celebration of the 34th anniversary of Turkmenistan's independence, which is celebrated on September 27.
