Turkmenistan addressed the OSCE Warsaw Conference on the Human Dimension

A delegation of Turkmenistan headed by Permanent Representative to the OSCE Hemra Amannazarov addressed the Warsaw Conference on Human Dimension on October 6, 2025. The event was organized by Finland together with the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights. About it reports Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

In his statement, the representative of Turkmenistan reaffirmed the country's commitment to co-operation with the OSCE and emphasized the country's achievements in the field of human rights protection. Recent humanitarian actions were cited as examples: the pardoning of 225 convicts on the occasion of the 34th anniversary of independence, the granting of residence permits to 142 foreign nationals, and the successful completion of the UNHCR campaign to eliminate statelessness.

Turkmenistan's initiative to proclaim the International Day of Multilingual Diplomacy at the UN General Assembly session was also noted. The delegation of Turkmenistan confirmed its readiness for further co-operation with the OSCE in promoting democratic values and human rights.
