Turkmenistan delegation discussed partnership with the EU at the Global Gateway 2025 Forum

A delegation of Turkmenistan led by Minister of Finance and Economy Mammetguly Astanagulov took part in the Global Gateway 2025 Forum held in Brussels on October 9-10. The event was devoted to the development of sustainable infrastructure and global connectivity. About it reports Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs Kaja Kallas spoke at the forum. Panel discussions focused on key projects, including the development of hydropower and transport corridors in Central Asia, as well as mobilizing investment through international financial institutions.

Participation in the forum allowed the Turkmen delegation to deepen the dialogue with the EU institutions on financing infrastructure projects and expand working contacts with international financial organizations.
