On December 7, a meeting of the Board of the Charity Fund for Assistance to Children in Need of Care chaired by the National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov was held in the city of Arkadag. This is reported by the Internet resource "AsmanNews.
At the meeting of the Board discussed the results of the Fund's work for 2024, amendments to legal acts, as well as the expenditure of funds and the activities of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Children's Recreation and Rehabilitation Center.
In his report, R. Bazarov, Vice-President of the Foundation, said that with the funds raised it was possible to conduct 500 surgeries for sick children, 261 of them this year. It was also noted that thanks to the Foundation, preventive check-ups are constantly conducted and medicines are purchased, and a lot of work is done in the rehabilitation center to restore children's health.
Having heard the reports, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov gave a number of instructions for the next reporting period.
