Azerbaijani ambassador meets Turkmenistan's foreign minister

A ceremony of presenting copies of credentials of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Turkmenistan Gismat Fuzuli oglu Gozalov to Turkmen Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov took place on Monday, October 2. This is reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

The Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan expressed sincere congratulations to the Azerbaijani diplomat and expressed readiness to support his diplomatic mission. During the meeting, the sides discussed the prospects of cooperation in political-diplomatic, trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian spheres.

It was recognized that cooperation between the states in bilateral and multilateral formats, including within the UN framework, is of particular importance. The parties noted the dynamics in the development of trade and economic cooperation and the growth of trade turnover. The fuel and energy complex, ecology, nature protection, transportation and logistics were named priority areas of partnership.
