Today, Turkmen Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov received copies of credentials of the Ambassador of the European Union to Turkmenistan Beata Peksa. This is reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
Rashid Meredov congratulated the EU Ambassador on his appointment, wishing success in the implementation of the diplomatic mission and expressing readiness to provide all possible assistance in it. During the talks, the sides noted the positive dynamics in the development of cooperation in bilateral and multilateral formats, including within the framework of Central Asia-European Union interaction.
Diplomats discussed further development of partnership in trade-economic, transport-transit, energy and educational spheres, as well as in the field of ecology and water resources management in Central Asia. Efficiency in implementation of EU programs for CA, including "BOMCA", "CADAP", "Erasmus+" was noted.
