Turkmen entrepreneurs and representatives of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan held a number of meetings with the World Bank delegation on a working visit to Ashgabat. This was reported by the TurkmenPortal online publication.
During the meetings, the possibilities of attracting foreign investments in the private sector of Turkmenistan were discussed, in particular, attention was paid to the realization of joint projects in the sphere of agriculture and food industry. Visits to greenhouse complexes and horticultural farms in Akhal velayat of Turkmenistan and agro-enterprises in Mary velayat were organized for the guests.
The World Bank representatives highly appreciated the organization of modern complexes and expressed interest in further increasing cooperation.
