Ashgabat to become a venue for the Central Asian Security Meeting

During the Summit of CIS Heads of State, Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov invited the CIS countries to participate in the first meeting of the Conference on Security in Central Asia, which will be held in the capital of Turkmenistan, Ashgabat, next year. This is reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

The head of Turkmenistan emphasized the relevance of establishing the Conference on Security in Central Asia under the auspices of the UN as part of the format of interaction between the Commonwealth countries.

The aim of the Meeting will be to consolidate the efforts of CA countries and interested states, international organizations and financial institutions in ensuring sustainable and conflict-free development of the region.
