Ashgabat will host a meeting of the Council of Elders of the LSGs

The 15th meeting of the Council of Elders of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) will be held in Ashgabat from 11 to 13 March 2024. This is reported by the state news agency "Turkmenistan Today".

The relevant decree was signed by President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov. The signed document instructs the country's specialized structures and agencies to ensure that the event is held in Ashgabat at a high organizational level.

The main objective of the planned meeting is to further develop and comprehensively strengthen the multifaceted relations and constructive cooperation of Turkmenistan as an observer with the Organization of Turkic States and its member countries, including Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey and Uzbekistan.
