On September 15, the National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov made a regular working trip to the city of Arkadag, where he familiarized himself with the projects of constructions of the second stage of the new city being prepared these days for the main holiday of the country - Independence Day of Turkmenistan and held a meeting with the participation of relevant leaders, MIC reports.
Chairman of the State Committee for Construction of Arkadag City under the President of Turkmenistan D. Orazov and Head of the City Administration G. Mammadova informed the Chairman of Halk Maslahaty about the pace of construction works. The schemes and projects of social facilities scheduled for realization were also presented.
Among them are a shopping center, a hotel with an original design solution, a modern park, comfortable residential buildings of high storey, a sanatorium, a General Education Center for Information Technology, a business center, and an Agricultural University.
The National Leader of the Turkmen people was also presented a project of a health park, as well as an electronic device for demonstration of carpets.
As noted, upcoming new buildings should fully meet the criteria of the smart city concept.
Touching upon the landscaping of the areas around the park and along the highways of the new city, the National Leader of the Turkmen people emphasized the importance of scientific approach, as it will allow selecting tree species and types of flowers taking into account the soil and climatic conditions and providing them with proper care.
Having considered the projects of building construction, the honored architect of Turkmenistan noted the need to focus on their finishing, including the interior, which should be in harmony with the covering of magnificent carpets.
Speaking about the electronic device for demonstration of carpets to be installed in the new city, Hero Arkadag emphasized the importance of using digital developments and new ways to ensure its full functioning. At the same time, information about the famous Turkmen carpets should be provided in many languages, which will ensure accessibility of information for the guests of our country.
Then, the National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting with the participation of the Chairman of the State Committee for Construction of Arkadag City under the President of Turkmenistan D. Orazov and the head of the city administration G. Mammadova.
During the meeting D. Orazov reported on the situation at the facilities of the second stage and steps taken to increase the pace of their construction.
Hero-Arkadag ordered to ensure a responsible approach to solving problems to accelerate the implementation of the project of the second phase using high-strength construction materials, which will make it possible to put the facilities into operation according to the established schedule. At the same time, it is necessary to continue targeted measures to attract investment in the construction and equipping of industrial infrastructure and medical cluster.
In turn, the mayor of the city G. Mammadova informed about the measures on settlement of modern residential buildings, as well as about preparations for celebrations on the occasion of significant dates of the national calendar.
Speaking about the next session of the Khalk Maslakhaty, Independence Day, Day of Health Care and Medical Industry Workers, International Day of Neutrality, Hero-Arkadag emphasized the importance of reflecting modern achievements of Turkmenistan in the cultural events timed to them. At the same time, the municipal services should coordinate their work to maintain impeccable cleanliness and order in the city during the celebrations.
Touching upon the topic of digital technologies in the new city, Chairman Halk Maslakhaty noted the need to expand the use of relevant innovations. Along with this, attention should be paid to the mastering of advanced developments and their implementation in the newly built residential buildings.
Today, the new city is widely known and its popularity is growing, as evidenced by the awarding of three special awards to the city of Arkadag at the World Smart City Expo held in the Republic of Korea. In this regard, Hero-Arkadag ordered to take appropriate measures to intensify international partnership in this area.
