On September 26, the National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov met with the son of the President of the Republic of Turkey - Chairman of the World Confederation of Ethnosports Bilal Erdogan, TDH reports.
During the meeting, the sides discussed the status and prospects of Turkmen-Turkish cooperation in the field of culture, sports and youth policy. Hero Arkadag emphasized the importance of preserving and developing the cultural heritage of the two nations and expressed gratitude for warm congratulations on the Independence Day of Turkmenistan.
Bilalom Erdogan emphasized the high level of bilateral relations and expressed confidence in their further strengthening. Erdogan also conveyed greetings from Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on the development of the sports movement in Turkmenistan and the world. Hero Arkadag noted the successes of Turkmen athletes in the international arena and expressed hope for further strengthening of cooperation in this sphere.
Then, Hero-Arkadag presented the national pride of the Turkmen people - Alabays - to the guest as a festive gift. Bilal Erdogan gratefully accepted them and expressed his sincere gratitude to the National Leader of the Turkmen people for the gift.
During his stay in Turkmenistan, the head of the World Confederation of Ethnosport visited the city of Arkadag, where he familiarized himself with the facilities of various purposes, created conditions for fruitful work and comfortable life of the population. The guest was especially impressed by the use of innovative solutions taking into account environmental requirements.
