Hero of Turkmenistan Oleg Kononenko returned to Earth as part of the ISS crew with Nikolai Chub and NASA astronaut Tracy Dyson. Having spent a total of 1111 days in space during five flights, Oleg Kononenko set a world record for time in space. This is reported by the Internet edition "AsmanNews.

The descent of the Soyuz MS-25 spacecraft to Earth went normally. It landed on the territory of Kazakhstan to the south-east of the city of Zhezkazgan at 14:59 Moscow time. Flight Engineer Nikolai Chub, who flew into space for the first time, also set a record.

The crew headed by Oleg Kononenko, Hero of Turkmenistan and the Russian Federation, spent 374 days on the International Space Station, which exceeds the previous achievement of 370 days and 21 hours.

As part of their work on the ISS, the crew carried out scientific and applied research. О. Kononenko and N. Chub performed two spacewalks.
