Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian during a telephone conversation on Sunday, January 8, congratulated his Turkmen counterpart Rashid Meredov on New Year holidays and expressed hope for the strengthening of mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries in various fields. The press service of the Foreign Ministry of the Islamic Republic of Iran reported this.
The foreign ministers of Turkmenistan and Iran also discussed current issues of mutual interest. Rashid Meredov stressed the need to continue constructive dialogue to expand bilateral ties between the countries and bring diplomatic cooperation to a qualitatively higher level.
