Head of the OSCE Center in Ashgabat Ambassador John McGregor congratulated the Government and people of Turkmenistan on the New Year 2024. This is reported in the electronic newspaper Neutral Turkmenistan.
In his congratulatory message, the Ambassador noted that the year 2023 was a successful year of co-operation between Turkmenistan and the OSCE. The Organization, together with BOMCA, trained Turkmen specialists on travel document security within the framework of the project "Capacity Building of the State Border Service of Turkmenistan".
The Head of the OSCE Center noted that a Center of Excellence in Cyber Security had been opened in Ashgabat. It was emphasized that the OSCE is actively promoting Turkmenistan's accession to the WTO. The OSCE and Turkmenistan are also developing co-operation in the renewable energy, economic and environmental spheres.
In the final part of the message, the Head of the OSCE Center in Ashgabat wished good health, longevity and success to the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. The Ambassador wished inspiration, happiness and prosperity to the people of Turkmenistan.
