Turkmenistan's Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov made a proposal to hold an Interregional Dialogue on the development of digital cooperation in Ashgabat in November this year during a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on September 13. This is reported by the Internet edition "Westiabad."
The Dialogue will become a platform for digital cooperation and exchange of experience with countries in the region and specialized companies. The Minister proposed to create a program of cooperation with technologically developed countries in the field of cybersecurity of digital systems for 2025-2027. The program implies the study by Turkmen specialists of the best foreign experience to ensure information security and protection of information technologies.
The minister also noted the need to continue to strengthen the partnership with the UN Counter-Terrorism Office in the area of digital security.
