In Lebap velayat of Turkmenistan 130 thousand hectares will be sown with cotton

Agrarians of Lebap velayat plan to sow more than 130,000 hectares of land with cotton this year. This was reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

To date, the workers of the agricultural sector have already sown almost 5 thousand hectares. The agrarians of Kerki, Khalacha and Sayat etraps especially stood out, showing the best results.

Such successes are helped by reliable agricultural machinery of well-known foreign brands, which is controlled with the help of digital technologies, which indicates the introduction of the latest achievements of science and technology in the agro-industrial complex of Lebap province. An example of the introduction of advanced scientific developments in Turkmenistan's agriculture is the high-performance seeders "Monosem".

More than 21 tons of high quality cotton seeds have been prepared for the sowing season, including new varieties "Ýolöten-50" and "Ýolöten-53". Practical study of the newest variety "Garaşsyzlyk-30" is underway on the sowing areas of Sayat Scientific Production Test Farm.
