On Monday, October 2, the International Youth Forum "Dialogue - Guarantee of Peace" was held at the International Academy of Horse Breeding named after Aba Annaev in the city of Arkadag, Turkmenistan. This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
The event was organized by the Government of Turkmenistan with the participation of the Office of the UN Resident Coordinator in Turkmenistan and the UN Regional Centre for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia.
The forum was attended by young leaders, activists, students, entrepreneurs and innovators from Central Asian countries.
The main theme of the forum was the promotion of peaceful dialog through the application of preventive diplomacy. In addition, the use of new technologies, digital diplomacy, and the promotion of peace through culture and art were considered.
As a result of the forum, a Memorandum on the establishment of the Dialogue of Youth of Central Asian countries was signed, and an Appeal of the participants of the International Youth Forum "Dialogue - Guarantee of Peace" was adopted.
