Turkmen Medical University has started teaching traditional Indian medicine

The Myrat Garryev State Medical University of Turkmenistan has introduced training in healthy rehabilitation, sports recovery and traditional Indian medicine into the curricula of final-year students. This is reported by the Internet publication "SNG.fm.".

Minister of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan M. Mammedov noted that a comprehensive concept of healthy lifestyle has been created in the country. It was emphasized that in the context of expanding international relations, it is a priority for Turkmenistan to establish relations with leading foreign clinics and specialized international institutions.

The Minister also noted that the S.A. Niyazov Medical and Consulting Center regularly conducts trainings on studying and performing yoga practices.
