The Islamic Development Bank will finance the construction of three cancer centers in Turkmenistan. For this purpose, the IDB will allocate more than 156 million dollars, and the total cost of the project is 259 million dollars. This is reported by the Internet edition "AsmanNews.
The agreement was signed on the sidelines of the annual meetings of the IMF and the World Bank between Muhammad Al Jasser, head of the Islamic Development Bank, and Rakhymberdi Dzhepbarov, chairman of the board of the State Bank for Foreign Economic Affairs of Turkmenistan.
New medical centers will be built in Mary province, Balkanabat and Turkmenabat. In total, the construction of oncology centers will provide quality medical care to more than 11,000 patients.
