Turkmenistan will soon open a large high-tech stables for 600 Akhal-Teke horses located in the foothills of the Kopetdag Mountains. This is reported by the online publication "Türkmenistan Habarlar Portaly".
The complex of the new stables includes a veterinary building, a warehouse for storing fodder, auxiliary premises and eight stables - one for 40 foaling mares, two for 60 horses and five for 88 horses. The entire complex covers an area of about 15.5 hectares. The buildings are equipped with modern equipment for administration and monitoring of the horses' health.
According to the Head of State Serdar Berdimuhamedov, the new high-tech stables for Akhal-Teke horses will become a visiting card of Turkmenistan. The stables are planned to be opened on the day of the national harvest festival.
