Turkmenistan holds talks with the German Ambassador

On Thursday, March 9, 2023, Deputy Foreign Minister M. Byashimova met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Germany to the country Michael Uwe Birkhoff in the building of the Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan. This is reported on the official website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

The talks were aimed at strengthening Turkmen-German relations in trade-economic, political-diplomatic and cultural-humanitarian spheres. M. Byashimova noted the constructive nature of cooperation between Germany and Turkmenistan both in the bilateral format and within the framework of international organizations, in particular, the EU and the UN.

The sides emphasized the importance of functioning of the joint Turkmen-German Working Group on Economic Partnership. To strengthen relations between the countries in trade and economic direction, the diplomats agreed to hold joint exhibitions, conferences, round tables and other events.
