A seminar on operational and investigative activities was held in Turkmenistan

From April 3-5, a training seminar for officers involved in investigative activities was held at the Archabil Hotel in Ashgabat. The event was organized by the Border Management Assistance Program in Central Asia (BOMCA 10). This was reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

International specialized experts shared their knowledge and experience at the seminar. The seminar was attended by representatives of the Ministry of National Security, the State Border Service, the State Migration Service and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Turkmenistan.

The aim of the workshop was to build the capacity of professionals to conduct investigations based on the assessment of data related to transnational organized crime. The training participants were introduced to the EU approaches in setting, implementing and evaluating priorities in the fight against organized international crime.
