The daily Neutral Turkmenistan reports that the State Olympiad in Foreign Languages will start on February 12 across the country. The event is organized by the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan.
The main difference from traditional school and student Olympiads is in the composition of the participants. The event is aimed at students of linguistic short-term language courses.
According to T. Gulamov, Acting Head of the Licensing Department of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan, the State Foreign Language Olympiad will include 3 rounds. The event will identify the best public and private short-term language courses with innovative teaching technologies.
The Olympiad for residents of Akhal province and Ashgabat will be held at the D. Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages. For students of courses in Dashoguz province, the Olympiad will be organized at the Turkmen Agricultural Institute. In Balkanabat, the competitions will be held at the branch of the International University of Oil and Gas named after Y. Kakaev, in Turkmenabat the competitions will be organized at the Turkmen Agricultural Institute. In Turkmenabat - at the State Pedagogical Institute named after Y. Kakaev. С. Seidi. For training courses in Mary province, the Olympiad will be held at the State Energy Institute.
