The State Academy of Arts of Turkmenistan hosted a seminar on the 20th anniversary of the UNESCO Convention

The seminar "Study of national heritage: from mentor to pupil" at the State Academy of Arts was timed to the 20th anniversary of the adoption of the UNESCO Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. This was reported by the Neutral Turkmenistan daily newspaper.

Participants of the seminar were representatives of cultural institutions of five velayats of the country, masters of arts and crafts, employees of libraries and museums, teachers and students of the State Academy of Arts, press.

Each speaker of the seminar prepared an informative message, many of which were accompanied by thematic video and music. There were poems and sounds of melodies played on national instruments at the Academy of Arts. The speakers through spectacular presentations told about the large-scale work carried out in the country to collect, preserve and study the intangible heritage of the Turkmen people.
