Turkmenistan announces results of Gengesh elections

The results of the elections of the Gengesh members of Aba Annaeva settlement of Kiarizek etrap of Arkadag city held on July 23 this year have been announced. This is reported on the website "Türkmenistan habarlar portaly".

A ceremony of handing over the certificates to the elected members of the Gengesh by the electoral commission of the settlement was held in Aba Annayeva settlement. Five candidates nominated by different political parties made it to the Gengesh.

The first meeting of the elected members of the Gengesh was also held. According to the assessment of the election commission, the elections to the Gengesh were held at a high organizational level, on the basis of multi-party, competitive, open, transparent and democratic principles, as well as in accordance with the election legislation of Turkmenistan.
