Turkmenistan to put forward initiatives at UNGA session

Turkmenistan plans to put forward a number of important initiatives at the 78th session of the General Assembly, which will be held on September 12 in New York. This is reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

Turkmenistan plans to put forward an initiative to develop a Global Security Strategy, on the basis of which a structure on security issues in Central Asia will be created. Turkmenistan proposes to hold the first meeting in 2024 in Ashgabat.

In addition, Turkmenistan proposes to create a Counter-Terrorism Program for Central Asia together with the UN Counter-Terrorism Office. Another initiative of Turkmenistan is to organize an international forum on food security.
