The conference "Ancient Anau culture" will be held in Turkmenistan

In late March 2024, Turkmenistan will host an international scientific conference "Ancient Anau Culture", timed to coincide with the announcement of the Turkmen city of Anau as the cultural capital of the Turkic world in 2024. This is reported by Centralasia.news.

During the last meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, Deputy Prime Minister N. Ammanepesov presented a report on the preparations for the event. Historians, archaeologists and ethnographers from the TURKSOY member countries, museum workers from the USA, Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and the Republic of Turkey will be invited to participate in the conference.

The city of Anau is planning to hold ceremonial events on the occasion of awarding the status of the cultural capital of the Turkic world in 2024. President Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed to ensure a high organizational level of the planned events.
