UNDP launched online psychology courses in Turkmenistan

UNDP in Turkmenistan has launched an online platform for self-study on mental health and psychosocial support. This is reported by the TurkmenPortal online publication.

Online lectures are now available as part of the project "Enhancing national capacity in psychosocial support to vulnerable young people and women at the community level as preventive measures", implemented by UNDP together with the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population of Turkmenistan.

Financial support is provided by the UNDP-DPPA Joint Program on Building National Conflict Prevention Capacity. Online courses can be taken by teachers, social workers, law enforcement officers and other specialists. The lectures are available in English, Turkmen and Russian. Upon successful completion of the courses, participants receive a certificate.
