A new direction of tourism - eco-ethno-tourism is actively developing and is becoming increasingly popular in Turkmenistan. This is reported by the Internet publication "TurkmenPortal".
This type of recreation combines unity with nature and acquaintance with the national culture of the Turkmen people. It is aimed at responsible attitude to recreation sites, which reduces the negative impact on the environment and allows preserving local traditions.
The eco-ethno-tourism program includes visits to remote corners of Turkmenistan, where guests can familiarize themselves with local traditions, ancient legends and crafts, as well as taste authentic cuisine.
On March 24, the first tour to the Bereketli Garagum Nature Reserve will take place. Within the framework of the trip it is planned to visit Turkmen villages, where tourists will get acquainted with the life of local residents, observe wild animals in their natural habitat and even ride camels.
