According to the expert, Turkmenistan continues to develop natural resources on the shelf and on land, which is one of the sources of attracting investment. In this context, the signing of Memoranda of Cooperation with ADNOS from the UAE on the development of the Galkynysh field and Dragon oil on the exploration of deposits in the Turkmen sector of the Caspian Sea is of particular importance.

Within the framework of cooperation in the energy sector, a plan for the early implementation of the TAPI project has recently been signed, and deals have been concluded for gas supplies to Iraq and Hungary. The legal framework for energy cooperation is based on domestic legislation, bilateral and multilateral international agreements.
