At the Friday meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on March 17 on the digital system, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers M. Mammadova provided President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov with a report on preparations for the celebration of the National Spring Festival Novruz. This was reported by the state news agency "Turkmenistan Today".
It was noted that the Novruz holiday, included in the list of intangible heritage of humanity by UNESCO, contributes to the maintenance of traditional values of spirituality and morality, as well as provides an opportunity to preserve the cultural and historical heritage of the peoples of the world, including the Turkmen people.
Mammadova informed the President about the preparations for the celebrations in Nowruz ýaýlasy in Akhal province scheduled for March 21. Deputy Prime Minister informed the President about the participation of delegates of the international forum dedicated to the development of tourism in Turkmenistan, which will be held on the eve of Novruz.
