A meeting with the Armenian Ambassador was held in Turkmenistan

Deputy Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan Ahmet Gurbanov met with Arsen Avagyan, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Armenia to Turkmenistan, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan on Thursday, December 19. This is reported on the website of the country's foreign policy department. 

In the course of the talk, the sides exchanged views on the key areas of development of the Turkmen-Armenian cooperation. It was noted that the states are currently effectively cooperating within the framework of bilateral and multilateral partnership, including within the framework of international structures and organizations.

The interlocutors emphasized the special significance of the participation of the President of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturian in the international forum dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the birth of the Turkmen poet Makhtumkuli Fraghi in October 2024.
