Negotiations with the Chairman of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly were held in Ashgabat

On November 26, Turkmen Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov met with Pia Kauma, President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe. About it reports Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

The meeting emphasized Turkmenistan's commitment to work towards the establishment of an energy security and sustainable transport architecture. The sides noted the important role of effective interaction between Turkmenistan and the OSCE in developing a constructive dialog in the economic-environmental, diplomatic and cultural-humanitarian spheres. It was emphasized that as Afghanistan's closest neighbor, Turkmenistan supports and assists the friendly state in building social facilities.

The importance of consolidating common efforts in the field of security and energy development of the region was emphasized.
