The National Leader of the Turkmen People meets with the President of the People's Republic of China

National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov met with President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping in Beijing at the House of People's Congresses. This is reported by the online edition of "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

Within the framework of the meeting, the sides discussed the main directions of bilateral cooperation. The positive dynamics of the Turkmen-Chinese partnership in bilateral and multilateral formats was noted.
Following the working visit of Chairman Halk Maslakhaty to China, a number of documents were signed, including the Agreement between the Governments of Turkmenistan and the People's Republic of China on technical and economic cooperation and the Memorandum of Understanding between the customs services of the countries on cooperation in strengthening the capacity of the Authorized Economic Operators Program.
