The National Leader of the Turkmen People held a telephone conversation with the President of Türkiye

On April 10, 2024, the National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and President of the Republic of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan had a telephone conversation. This is reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

The sides exchanged mutual greetings, congratulations on Oraza Bayrami and best wishes. Chairman of Halk Maslakhaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted that Türkiye is one of the most reliable and long-standing partners of Turkmenistan. The sides also noted the positive dynamics of development of interstate cooperation of strategic nature in areas of mutual interest.

The sides emphasized that the linguistic, spiritual and cultural commonality of the two peoples contributes to the development of fruitful and effective ties between the states in various spheres.
