Today President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov met with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Mukhriddin. This is reported on the air of the news program Watan.
In the course of the meeting it was noted the special importance of the 16th forum of cooperation "CA - Republic of Korea", during which the issues of cooperation in the spheres of energy, digital technologies, economic security, tourism and healthcare will be touched upon.
The parties noted the establishment of productive cooperation within the framework of international structures. Turkmenistan and Tajikistan have established effective partnership in various areas, a solid legal framework has been created, regular high-level contacts are carried out, and intergovernmental cooperation is maintained.
In addition, the importance of the visit of the President of Turkmenistan to Tajikistan to participate in the Fifth Consultative Meeting of the Heads of the Central Asian states and the regular meeting of the Council of Heads of the IFAS founding countries for the sake of strengthening stability and prosperity of the region was noted.
