A large-scale forum "International Transport and Transit Corridors: Interconnectivity and Development-2023", which was attended by more than 800 guests from 45 countries, ended in Ashgabat on May 4 this year. This is reported on the official website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
The results of the event were more than a hundred business negotiations and signing of 26 bilateral and multilateral cooperation agreements.
During the conference, a panel thematic discussion "Transport as a factor of sustainable economy, peace and stability - a youth perspective" was held. CASCA+ round table meetings were held. Issues related to the creation of a modern logistics system and simplification of the transportation process between the states of Central Asia and the Republic of Korea were discussed.
The conference also included a meeting of the commission on road transport between Turkmenistan and Romania. The forum guests visited Ashgabat International Airport and Turkmenbashi International Sea Port.
