On June 22, Minsk hosted a briefing on the upcoming opening of Arkadag city and the 300th anniversary of the birth of Makhtumkuli Fraghi. The event was organized by the Turkmen diplomatic mission in Belarus. This is reported by Orient news.
The guests of the event were teachers and students of the Minsk State College of Printing named after V.Z. Khoruzei, active youth of Minsk. To illustrate the topic of the briefing, Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Belarus Nazarguly Shagulyev demonstrated video clips about the city of Arkadag. A photo exhibition telling about the "smart" city was organized. The event also featured poems by Makhtumkuli Fraghi and a song about Turkmenistan.
The exposition displaying arts and crafts, carpets, jewelry, national clothing and household items of the Turkmen people was also very popular among the guests of the briefing.
