Subject Olympiads in Turkmenistan as part of educational reforms

Azamat Ashirov, a senior lecturer at the Turkmen Agricultural University named after S.A. Niyazov, spoke about the benefits of holding subject Olympiads. This is reported by the Centralasia.news online edition.

According to the results of the recently held Informatics Olympiad on the basis of TSKhU, 89 high school students reached the finals. The results of the Olympiad have contributed to the research of currently emerging scientific and practical problems. The teacher stated that the intellectual competitions also contribute to the realization of the concept of development of the digital education system and improvement of teaching of exact and natural sciences.

The senior teacher emphasized that regular holding of subject Olympiads for pupils and students, including those of international level, in Turkmenistan is an important result of reforms in the educational system of the country.
