Chairman of Halk Maslakhaty familiarized with the development of Arkadag city

On September 22, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov made a regular working trip to Arkadag city, where together with the Chairman of the State Committee for Construction of Arkadag city under the President of Turkmenistan D. Orazov and the Mayor of Arkadag city G. Mammadova discussed the pace of development of the new city and ways of solving the set tasks, TDH reports.
Chairman of the State Committee for Construction of Arkadag City under the President of Turkmenistan D. Orazov said that on the initiative of Hero-Arkadag the "Concept of Arkadag City Development for 2024-2052" has been developed, and now the necessary work is being done to approve it. The Concept defines the tasks of development of the new city in all directions.
In this regard, the National Leader of the Turkmen people sent the "Concept of Arkadag City Development for 2024-2052" to the Presidium of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan and noted that it is necessary to carry out relevant work on submitting the program to the President of Turkmenistan for approval. It was noted that if the head of state approves this Concept, it will be important to fulfill all the tasks defined in it.
The results of the work on approval of the "Strategy for the development of science in Turkmenistan for 2024-2052" in accordance with the Concept were also discussed here.
In this regard, the expediency of creating modern educational centers in different parts of the country, including in the city of Arkadag, was noted among the important tasks. their equipping with the latest equipment and technologies, introduction of innovative methods of teaching young people in educational institutions were also determined.
During the working trip, the National Leader of the Turkmen people noted that the year 2025, declared the International Year of Peace and Trust, should be filled with significant events.
Then hakim of Arkadag city G. Mammadova reported on the activities in preparation for the upcoming important dates. As noted, in honor of the 33rd anniversary of the sacred independence of the Fatherland, the Day of Health Workers and Medical Industry of the country, preparations are underway for cultural celebrations, as well as on the occasion of resettlement in new houses.
It was noted that the number of young sports supporters in the city of Arkadag is currently growing. This opens up opportunities for the new city to enter the international sports arena. According to the results of last year, the soccer team "Arkadag" was awarded the title of the champion of the highest league of Turkmenistan. Taking into account the high results of the team this year, it should be noted that the club has a great future.
During the working trip, Hero-Arcadag, having familiarized himself with the types of electric buses that are operated in the new city, emphasized that they should meet modern requirements and international standards in terms of comfort and technical indicators. For this purpose, it is necessary to involve specialists of specialized institutions.
Hero-Arkadag also focused attention on the issues of placing modern advertising on electric buses, instructing to carry out appropriate work in this direction.
