President Berdimuhamedov held a meeting on agro-industrial complex with the khakims of velayats

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting in digital format with the participation of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers T. Atakhallyev and khakims of all velayats on the development of agro-industrial complex.

During the meeting, regional leaders reported on the progress of seasonal agricultural works. Hyakim of Ahal province T.Nurmyradov reported on the process of harvesting grain crops, inter-row cotton cultivation, harvesting potatoes and vegetables, as well as the construction of facilities under the Socio-Economic Development Program for 2022-2028.

The Balkan province under the leadership of Hyakim H. Ashirmiradov achieved special successes, who reported about overfulfillment of the plan on wheat production - more than 80 thousand tons were harvested. He expressed gratitude to the National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and President Serdar Berdimuhamedov for the achieved results.

D.Babayev, the head of Dashoguz province, reported on ongoing wheat harvesting, cotton and rice fields maintenance works, as well as harvesting of vegetable and melon crops. Head of Lebap velayat M. Annanepesov reported on the progress of grain harvesting, care of cotton fields, ongoing sowing of rice and construction of planned facilities.

Mr. B.Orazov, Hyakim of Mary province, presented information on wheat harvesting, care of cotton, harvesting of vegetables and ongoing sowing of sugar beet.

Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers T. Atakhallyev presented a general report on the progress of seasonal agricultural campaigns throughout the country.

At the end of the meeting, President Berdimuhamedov gave specific instructions to all khakims on timely harvesting without losses, observance of agro-technical norms in cotton care and control over the implementation of socio-economic development programs.

The head of state emphasized the importance of comprehensive measures to develop the agricultural sector and instructed to ensure quality work at all stages of agricultural production.
