President of Turkmenistan sent congratulations to the leadership of Switzerland

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov sent congratulations and best wishes to President of the Swiss Confederation Alain Berset on the occasion of the country's national holiday - Swiss Confederation Day, which is celebrated at the federal level annually on August 1. This is reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov expressed to the President of Switzerland his best wishes for happiness, good health, and peace and further prosperity to the people of Switzerland.

The holiday was officially established in 1891, six hundred years after the beginning of the Swiss Confederation, when representatives of the three Swiss cantons decided to form an alliance and unite against an external enemy.
