President of Turkmenistan received the Minister of Roads and Urban Development of IRI

On Friday, November 17, Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov received Minister of Roads and Urban Development of the Islamic Republic of Iran Mehrdad Bazrpash. This was reported by the State Information Agency of Turkmenistan.

The President of Turkmenistan noted that the development of multifaceted cooperation with neighboring countries is one of the main directions of the state's foreign policy. In this regard, he wished the Minister a successful holding of the 17th meeting of the Joint Intergovernmental Turkmen-Iranian Commission on Economic Cooperation. Serdar Berdimuhamedov also emphasized the importance of the exhibition and conference "Iran Prože" held in Ashgabat.

During the meeting, the sides discussed prospects for further trade and economic cooperation. Among the priority areas of partnership between the two countries were fuel and energy complex, agriculture, construction, transportation and communications.
